...and we'll Sing it Back to You
It astounds me how the weight of music will never lose it's majesty. I listen to music every single day. Sometimes longer than others, but I can't go ten minutes without a tune rummaging through my head. I've gone through my phases of music. From gansta rap to punk, from punk to hardcore, from hardcore to emo and so on. I enjoy the evolving rotation my collection endures. There are some artists I could never live without, and to be honest, there are some artist I just got caught up in the fad (i.e. from first to last). When words fail, that is when music prevails. I might be plagiarising someone, but who cares. It's a passion I ache for. I took a job in South Carolina to be free to expand my music. I could make money anywhere, but if I was in training with the Navy, I couldn't have the musical creativity I have here. I could have waived the bicycle business goodbye and set sail for our country, but I couldn't give up my musical aspirations. Anyway, I hope no one, who has the choice mind you, gives up their dream for something they can do anyway. Keep your eyes on the prize and I promise that you can never be sad. Sure there will be time where you wish you had chosen the other path. But I can tell you that if you were on the other side ,you'd be wishing you were here.
Go Figure.
